Carolyn Bointon has shocked us all from the Mayfield & Ellastone Responders Group by announcing she will be taking part, and completing (we have faith Carolyn!), in the 2014 London Marathon. Carolyn has been a first responder for (however long) and has brought so much to our dedicated team, so in return, we would now like to give something back.
Carolyn has a target of £2000 to raise for the British Heart Foundation but to also raise awareness in the local area of heart disease and prevention. Carolyn is not only one of the many kind volunteers for the Mayfield & Ellastone Responders, she is also a volunteer for the Heart Start Programme currently running in Staffordshire, so as you can see the importance of raising awareness is vital to Carolyn.
Finally, if you would like to donate and help Carolyn reach her goal of £2000, please follow the link below. The British Heart Foundation achieve such great things that they really do need every penny it can. Not only will you be supporting The British Heart Foundation you will be supporting Carolyn, on what will be an amazing (and no doubt sweaty) journey for the next 8 months.
Below please find the links for Carolyn’s page where you can donate and also a link to her personal blog where you can follow her on her journey.
How to Donate:
